Jack Johnson | Black Boxer Who Lived Without Fear

Jack Johnson was the first African American world heavyweight boxing champion (1908–1915).

In the words of Muhammad Ali, “Jack Johnson was bad. What he did out of the ring during that time was so bold. He put on pretty white neck ties and had white women, you know that nigga was bold. I know I’m bad, but he was crazy."

Jack Johnson was eventually arrested for kicking ass and dating too many white chicks.

Whatever whites thought of him meant nothing to Jack. In fact, he seemed to make sure that he was hated rather than loved. No one told Jack what to do, he lived as a free man.

And this our friends, is what we call living bad.
